Work
Various kinds of work have been done here although the ministry of the house is the life with its prayer for the world and everyone in it - notably the great intentions of world peace, hunger, suffering carried in public and private prayer. It is also an apostolate to share the peace of this way of life with retreatants and friends who come for a short or longer space of quiet.
Historically each person has done the work for which she has been trained or has special capabilities. Such work has included:
- Editing
- Accounting
- Legal transcription
- Data entry
- Counseling / Psychotherapy
- Spiritual direction
- Writing
- Breeding Great Pyrenees dogs
